Born in 2012, the Chamber Jam quintet is the result of the meeting between five musicians who extensively tour around the world, sharing the great passion for the art of Tango, in all its facets. The group is composed by the Argentinian bandoneonist, composer and arranger Marcelo Nisinman, famous for his works and collaborations with Gary Burton, Paquito de Rivera, Martha Argerich, Gidon Kremer; Daniel Rowland, Dutch-English violinist, former pupil of Igor Oistrakh and Ivry Gitlis, great soloist, chamber musician (primarius of the Brodsky Quartet), pedagogue (teacher at the Royal College of Music) and festival director of the Stift Festival; the Ukrainian pianist Natacha Kudritskaya, a former student of Alan Planés, great pianist, both as a soloist (her Nocturnes recording has been released by Deutsche Grammophon), and as chamber musician, collaborating with eminent personalities and performing throughout the World in the most prestigious festivals; the Montenegrin double bass player Zoran Markovic, former head of double basses of the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra, senior lecturer at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, permanent external associate of the RTV Symphony Orchestra and great innovator of string instruments with his newly designed ZMT Tailpiece; and Italian guitarist Alberto Mesirca, three times winner of the “Golden Guitar” prize and fond researcher of both ancient and contemporary music, who collaborated with figures such as Marc Ribot and Leo Brouwer.

This quintet is the fusion of energies, ideas, impulses which come from five unique and strong planets, forming this powerful universe of sound, which has been extensively touring all around Europe in the most prestigious venues and festivals, bringing around the music related to the art of Tango from its origins, through the developments of the Tango Nuevo of Astor Piazzolla and his contemporaries and arriving until today, presenting the new compositions of Marcelo Nisinman, who incarnates and brings on a tradition, taking it to a new level.
